Used the Steamcleaner card in Standard after an opponent’s deathrattle card created new spells. When playing it literally said “created by.” Needless to say, I lost the match soley on this. Does the card not apply to newly created spells? Seems like something that should either be fixed or spelled out in plain English.
Were the cards shuffled into the deck or were they put into the hand? Steamcleaner has no effect on cards in the hand.
If the newly created cards were in their hand, then no, Steamcleaner will not affect them, because it specifically says “cards in decks”.
Hand is not the same as deck.
