the powercreep of all these cards are making the meta feel worse and worse to play any type of standard games. they really have to go faster or be incredibly nerfed. I dont see the new mini set doing anything productive in any shape or form either.
This is by far the worst experience playing against the same 3 decks that end the game before turn 10.
And the mini set almost 99% positive wont change that
I felt that way until the last round of nerfs, but these days I’m not seeing that many starcraft cards, and feel like they’re a lot more in balance than they had been. The decks are still out there, but it’s not the only game in town. I have been playing more Wild, though, so maybe that’s part of it?
I see colossus mage around quite a lot still, and the occasional terran shaman or warrior. Zerg have pretty much disappeared though.
The shaman players have figured out the Terran package is a good early game support for pretty much any deck they want to play. It’s seeing an uptick in play currently.
