Stack amor/health + play Kil'Jaeden

Back in the day, Aggro players were called brain-dead. Now, Control decks with Arkonite and Kil’Jaeden have taken that title, making for the dumbest playstyle ever. No need to worry about fatigue, infinite scaling, 200 armor, or even 90 Health because you can just heal it all back with Lifesteal minions. Arkonite should have been deleted from the game yesterday!

Kil’Jaeden is fine, but dumb has poop* with stacking armor/health

I disagree with the dichotomy that aggro decks were brain-dead and control were big brain, at any point in the history of the game (and any TCG.)

There’s plenty examples of brain-dead control decks throughout just Hearthstone’s history (not considering other TCGs), take nearly any control warrior, there was literally little to no thought needed to play this correctly.

Now, lets look for examples of big-brain aggro decks. Well, an archetype that comes to mind is pain warlock, where you need to calculate what health total is safe to reach at what turn. Certainly not a brain deck by any standards.

I think in general what you are observing is the deterioration of decisions mattering in this game (which I think is true) and so you will find brain-dead decks all over the place (aggro, temp, control.) It’s not relegated to one type of deck, its a net shift in hearthstone.

Its because someone did it to them and they were traumatized, the armor DH have multiplied 10 fold since release

Wait for the wheel of death deck sfrom the warlock if DK become a problem.
It’s just a start of the expansion, meta must develop a bit.

It can’t develop with this thing terrorizing the meta. It completely kills many current decks as they don’t stand a chance. It’s too polarizing of a deck.

Crystal will almost certainly go to 5 mama.

I lost to this deck myself, it’s ok, but the DH needs a deck to play at all, if it’s too much they will reduce it’s power in some weeks. Every class needs it’s moments to shine once in a while.

Dude, I didn’t even mention DH. The play pattern is toxic, it’s like playing solitaire. No need to think about card value, just stack armor and drop Kil’Jaeden. You can do this with Warrior, DH, DK, and Warlock, but DH abuses it the most. Ranked is flooded with people spamming Arkonite Defender in 40-minute games, and there’s barely any counterplay. The only real answer is a lucky Dirty Rat hitting Kil’Jaeden or playing Shaman and hoping to Hex both Arkonites.

DH is beyond Toxic to the game and Kil’Jaden only adds to the problem. Remove Kil’jaden till is reworked and the nerf ADC to 5-6 mana. The infinate decks this time around are a serious problem it is like Bliz does ZERO playtesting.

Absolutely broken deck now. It’s just insane how Blizzard releases this stuff without doing a single round of testing.

According to the hsguru there are more decks with same win rate or better. Some more days and it will set for the real.

According to the HSGuru there is 20.2% (314891 games). You cant compare to any other deck which have like 2% play rate. Egg/imbue hunter is the only deck that have high win rate because its a hard counter for DH (just see king plush stats against DH), still 3.6% (56299 Games) way lower than DH. Hunters are just farming DH.

And again, because people dont seem to understand the problem, they just see numbers. Just like Quasar rogue this kind of play partner is toxic, not only DH can do this, every class and future card that can abuse Arkonite defense cristal will just stack armor and win the game. So people like numbers? there is a actual analysis for those numbers.

peoples loves to troll making billions of armor and regenerating absurb amount of life via life leech that any deck that got a “fixed” dmg pool they can do in the game can’t compete and beat them .

every expansion that appeared in the past few years had massive life leech or armor or life regen printed on their cards .

life leech was never a problem but then it becomes a problem with cleave lifeleech (hunter card ) that had to be nerfed , but this was not sufficient because paladin was abusing lion life leech for ages with handbuff build .

then massive armor was build into ships 7 armor , and arkonite was printed with 6 armor , bringing this in a world tournament which is a totally shame for the game and the overall strategy in the eyes of the world . the deck was runned by the world champion and was warlock , but they were all abusing arkonite crystal , so this card alone is a big problem for the game and is a shame for the game and for the strategy , it obliterates totally all other decks that are aggro and obliterate diversification of strategies . same was done with warrior gaining absurd amount of life and druid too .

the best way to fix life leech is allowing only life leech on the first attack maded but they will never do it …

death knight finaly abuse life leech and armor too , till it was created , the "no limit " situation in the past was creating pools of 100+ life and massive armor , and they were never able to control that in a sane way making one sided games all day long .the same still exist with leech from the new 0/2 that leech life on board and on opponenent ,

the new DK deck create a differenciel that is triple : 1 they gain more hit points than you ,
2 : they leech your life making that you are lower life than him and
3 : they have board control making all your minions useless as they are sucked in life .

king crush ? if is the hunter deck im thking about it doesnt even need king crush with the token minions alone by turn 5 the game is over

Keep the armor combo, just make it less annoying to play against. (i.e. Felbat summons different deathrattle minions)
