Meet Renogos, a datamined boss card from the final wing of Galakrond’s Awakening. Looks like there’s a sidequest that will transform Reno into his Dragon form. Whether you play as him in the Hero story or against him in the Villain story (he is labeled as a boss) isn’t entirely clear, but there it is.
It’s a very interesting outcome. Much more interesting if you consider the foreshadowing in some expansions (Karazhan- the clip of the Curator with a cow (beast), murloc and Reno (turned out dragon))
It also makes sense given the traditional depiction of dragons coiling around their hoard of loot.
Hence the term Dragon’s Hlard
Hence Reno’s lust for money
Hence “We’re gonna be rich!”
That hero power is nice and op, cast twice the spells and plus2 on sd.
Today I played rogue vs the 35% mage universe in Wild, got 10 mage cards 4 one mana, and on turn 5 I run new Reno slot machine passive, thk God I had Gala backup. Got so many bad spells that by turn 10 I needed to puff Reno out. Hoping 4 the best, because I would really like to run triple Reno on mage…
Also, if somehow you manage to play The Amazing Reno vs Dragonslayer Kruk despite not being out yet, he already flat-out confirms it by saying “You smell like dragon, hat-man.”
Well, if they stuck in a Fel Reaver, a Hooked Reaver, an Aeon Reaver, and The Boom Reaver, I’m sure Blizz can find it in their hearts to name one card after someone else.
If I see a Reaversnormu, I’m going to start suspecting you bribed someone to have so many cards named after you.
please, nothing best than a card named after me (???
on to a more serious note: could it be that reno learnt how to turn himself into a dragon? after all he was learning draconic and raiding the sky temple for magic scrolls before… why would he do any of that if he was always a blue dragon???
To be at least a bit fair towards those who overreacted, the spoiler still appears in the hover description (even though the post is hidden due to reporting), so you don’t technically have to even visit the thread to get spoiled.
