Spending Gold as a returning Player

Sorry for posting here, I am not really a new player since I’ve started playing when Naxx came out, but I haven’t played since Witchwood released. I came back about a month ago, so I got a good grip on the whole community situation, the achievements, the new modes etc…

I still somehow need help on spending my gold. I am currently sitting on 2k gold. I played OTK DH and made it to legend last month (first time I’m legend!!) so I’m really glad. I also play Secret Rogue (with Hanaar) so that’s a thing. However, I have no clue where to spend my gold on.

I wanted to play Druid, but I’m missing cards that are in the E.V.I.L wings. I could also buy the mini-set, but I recently got one of the legendary cards (Envoy Rustwix) and I own half of the cards of the set already. Is it still worth it?

Should I invest in some of the solo adventures? Help! :slight_smile:

If you own half the miniset cards already, then probably not. Unless you like having big/complete collections)

You may be better off buying some Scholomance packs. Whichever one of the 3 latest expansions (Ashes of Outland/Scholomance Academy/Darkmoon Faire) you are missing the most cards from.

The average legendary drop rate per pack 1 in 20.
People like to buy packs from a set until they get the one guaranteed in the first ten packs.

In the miniset, you spend 2000 gold, which is equivalent to 20 packs, and you get 4 legendaries guaranteed. Therefore, from a pure perspective of dust value, you should always buy the miniset.
