Spell damage shaman broken, again

Do the devs know how to balance? Dead on turn five every single game with zero counter.
This deck was just nerfed yet it’s back again and even stronger?

How sad the state of this game is right now. No wonder ladder is full of bots, the real people stopped playing and only left us who enjoy to suffer.

Yep. I’ve done some math, and apparently it’s even more broken than DH (too early to judge and too small of a sample, but it’s already getting abused in top 100 legend).

Here’s the link to the math:

May I ask just, in what rank do you play? I’m interested to know how far the infestation has spread in 1 day.

I just got out of diamond and entered into legend today after the reset. Still running into it endlessly, but it didn’t start becoming a thing until Diamond 5~

Yeah just lost against one as we speak, turn 5 with 4 mana cuz he was overloaded

What a load of…nah…

Idc if they wanna lose half of the playerbase, it’s their problem to worry about, not mine.

It’s a casino game, there is no need for the balance, just flashy and more random to make it dependant on luck (which if fully programmed in this game imo).

They droped the idea to make it a normal competative game long time ago.

Sad that they will never see this message. They seem more than happy to just spend their time on the subreddit and discord full of blizzbots who pat them on the back for their terrible balance choices.

They don’t have to, it’s gonna come to their attention sooner or later

I just hope this time they shut the archetype down completely.

How many times do you have to nerf something before you say “enough is enough, half of our working hours is balancing that one ridiculous deck”?

I mean…it’s ridiculous xD

The masters tour tournament lineups are going to be crafted to either attack this deck or ban it out. Either way it is going to impact a pro tournament greatly. I will laugh if they all ban it out all weekend and then Team 5 goes right ahead and nerfs DH because that was the deck played in the tournament. I really have to wonder exactly how clueless they are?

This might the only tournament that I watch (or attempt to watch) the entire thing. I want to see how DH and Shaman affects the entire thing. I’m also curious to see if Wheel Warlock gets ANY exposure. With everyone bringing DH and Shaman and Mech Rogue more than likely, there’s zero incentive to bring Wheel Warlock. So Wheel Warlock won’t get exposure and goes right under the radar.

Should be interesting!

Everyone seen this coming except Blizzard. They do not test the game just make cards. Everyone not a shill knows this.

At least people play that deck in every rank and it’s much easier to play than Shaman, so the stats are bound to show it’s OP

Shaman is extremely hard to pilot and the stats might actually not show how broken it is, but luckily, tournament definitely will.

We’ve seen a preview of what happens in Feno cup today, and Shaman had around 100% pick rate there xD

Also, I would be surprised if anyone brings mech rogue. That deck is a hit-or-miss meme deck. Even if you’re laddering with it successfully, you wouldn’t dare to show that side of yourself in a serious tournament where skills, not luck, are supposed to be rewarded.

But I might be wrong, and in that case, I appologize to Mech Rogue mains xD

True. But balance testing is not an occupation. No developer does this kind of testing and pays for it. When it does happen it isn’t paid, it’s called “open beta” or “early access” or “public test realm.” The expectation of paid balance testing is ridiculous on your part.

I hope you at least get paid for bs posts like this smh.

They should’ve nerfed Flash of Lightning instead of Thrall’s Gift.

Yep. Well, 3rd time’s the charm. Surely they do it now (in a couple of weeks, which includes a 50k$ tournament full of OTK shaman)

30 hp to 0 on turn 8. Guess I should have played around that?

Bravo team 5. Another exhilarating solitaire deck to go against.

You can count yourself lucky. That’s a late OTK by this deck’s standards.

For people whining about this deck what exactly are you supposed to play in a game with unlimited board clears?

Nerfing this deck is buffing all the do nothing removal decks in the game.

Also for those who want to argue about do nothing removal decks, the reason why they aren’t 100% of the game is because just like dying to this deck playing a do nothing removal deck is just as boring. Its literally two sides of the same coin… if this deck is going to get nerfed nerf all the do nothing removal decks as well

Yeah game is in a bad state. They need like 7 consecutive nerf patches to get the power creep to a reasonable level.

But there should not be turn 8 or before OTKs. That’s obviously busted.

Then there should be no Reno, lone ranger. It’s obviously busted, as it has made every deck in the meta find a way to kill you before you get to play it.
