Spell card that destroys weapons would be cool I think

I’m honestly surprised after all this time they haven’t made a single spell (to my knowledge) that destroyers weapons yet. I think if they’re gonna push out minion less , arch-types for certain classes, they should at least give those sorts of classes a way to destroy weapons. I know mage can freeze, but that only delays attack doesn’t stop the weapon itself you know?

Mage is historically pretty good at freezing. Like, a lot of freezing. They don’t really need to destroy weapons as much as other classes

As far as I know, there is only one spell in the game that destroys weapons, but it destroys your own, not your opponent’s

interesting idea.

Rogue has a card. Sabotage.

It’s a neat idea, but potentially too niche. Viper was a 3/4 with a body, but a spell just to destroy a weapon would need a back up effect. Or just a pretty boring 2nd case like.

“Freeze a opponent, if they have a weapon, destroy it /steal it”,

It’d probably be too niche to maindeck it but you could etc it, but even then, ETC would violate the main deck rules.

You could probably expand the core cards for some general, low power levels fillers vs power cards, like it’s not a terrible idea, just it sounds like a niche tech for a niche deck with a 1/10th of a 1/10th chance to see play.

If they relaxed on choose one spells or made 3 effect cards you could probably have it on a multi tool/choose one spell though.

I forgot about that card. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in action to be honest. (Well, at least not the weapon destroying part)

We don’t need to give spell mage more tools now, do we? It’s already a pretty annoying deck to play against and reminds me a lot of some early druid decks that could summon minions via spells. Although, druid could only dream of having a draw spell that also gave a massive discount to the drawn cards.

What doesn’t rogue have? At some point in this game, they have been given everything, I think.

Or they take it. That’s what makes thief so much fun! I have less wins in rogue than any other class except DK, but I love playing Tess
