Speed up animations: Is this legal?

I found this online to supposedly speed up the animations:

Windows Key + r, type “%localappdata%\Blizzard\Hearthstone”,add these two lines in options.txt:
targetframerate=144
vsync=0

I didnt test it yet, because I want to know if this is legal. For me HS often feels kind of laggy, but I dont want to get in trouble if this is counted as “cheating”.

No it’s not, if they give the “option.txt” to do it, you’re good bud.

This isn’t going to speed up the animations anyway, it only helps with frame rate if your monitor and graphics card can use your input. Chances are it’s already were it CAN be.

Remember, you can also click on the preview card that appears to the left to dismiss it, speeding up some animations.

Animations definitely need to be speed up! I’m losing games just because of this. When playing ignite mage for example.
