I am player that has stopped playing HS some years but came back about a year. In order to keep a bit updated to the metas and ways of playing cards I’ve been following lots of HS players through social medias (Twitch and YouTube). I was amazed to see many of them are from the very beginning (2014) sharing their thoughts and games periodically ever since. Some of them are famous winners or challengers in HS competitions, so anybody in HS might have heard of. Some others, instead, are less known but still playing around with less public. After seeing them playing, made me wonder if benefitting from then 10-years of HS, they could receive a “symbolic” reward (not necesarly expensive, since they already invest in the game). If I had to give an idea of what could that be, after watching them, I saw they have a favourite card. For instance, one of those “insatiable HS players” has a special affection towards Lorewalker Cho, so I was guessing what about offering him a Diamond Edition of it? If you reply by saying “how?”, I came up with 2 ideas: the first idea could be by identifying those, idk, maybe 100 players (or more?) and giving them directly the reward, so the spectators of the gifted could see the reward when he proudly play it. A 2nd idea was to create a likely impossible achievement for normal players but not for them, such as “after playing a legendary card 10.000 times, you get the Diamond version of it”.
All in all, idk if something like that is feasable, but I think a “touching” reward to those players could be seen as very appreciated by them and their followers and at the same the HS 10th anniversary is a one-time event.
Finally, I just want to thank the developpers for this fantastic game and congratulate them for the anniversary.
