If I were going to nerf Naga Priest (and I’m not saying it should be nerfed because hardly anyone plays it) then I would just, y’know, kick Radiant Elemental back out of the Core Set. Boom, deck’s dead.
I think its the pure amount of buffs.
So on turn 4 he had a 8/8 which I cleared to a 1/1 on turn 6 he had double 8/16’s + a 5/8 or so with reduce spell cost.
Pure luck on my part I had discovered a silence and had 2 others drawn. He conceded turn 7.
if I had not drawn the silences, dead by turn 8? dont know what decks you are running that can clear 40/50 hp pts on board by turn 7?
I dont think its actually toxic, annoying and op? perhaps.
between big priest and bless priest, I faced priest perhaps 1/3 of my games last night?
It wasn’t me (or maybe it was).
But don’t forget they have to run into some luck to get to those numbers. On average they (we) don’t and so we lose our fair number of matches.
The deck is pretty busted tho. I agree.
