Soo many bots in standard - Gold level atm

Title says it all.
Old player returning after several years.
Was excited to get back into the game, see the new cards, battle other HUMANS.
Sadly no.
I have now played probably close to 30 bots all in a row. All the same cards, all the same play style.
I am thinking about quitting again.
Does it get better?

I met people brining decks with only normal cards in it between Diamond 10 and Diamond 5 rank.
I was like farming here might be faster given that he wants to lost sooner.

If you keep winning games then your MMR rises. The bots are supposed to help players with low MMR.

I’m a regular player and I haven’t seen a bot in many months.

The grind though - is this every season? or do you keep your MMR?

If you are new or a player returning after missing many seasons, you will face bots until your mmr can be established. So next season, you should be seeing less of these player bots.

The MMR does not reset to 0 like the rank each month.

Like I said I haven’t seen a bot in a long time.

People are seeing bots at legend.

It doesn’t get any better.

Never played against a bot in years. Am I doing something wrong?

You probably have, but didn’t recognize it.

There’s a list of bot names, and the fact that the actiblizz names didn’t show up on recently played were a good clue.

Not this early in the month. But yeah they get there eventually

They removed the blizzard bots according to the last patch notes.

Anything left is player bots that should be reported.

No, they just shunted them all to the new player experience, so everyone who starts the game can get a feel for the bot infested mess this is.

Of course, but the question of whether or not they will take any real action, and not “look guise, we banned some bots” is to be seen.

The op says he’s in gold in the title of the thread… that’s not new player experience… so he is not seeing blizzard bots because they were removed.

I didn’t post he was seeing actiblizz bots. I was pointing out in response to your post that they didn’t get rid of all their bots.
