So, I keep seeing Rogues play this card, it draws the cards and the rogue gets to play 8 mana cost cards for 0? Where is the mana reduction coming from? The card text doesn’t state that it reduces or changes the mana cost of cards drawn, does it?
Robocaller only draws 3 cards. There is no reduction involved.
Do you have a replay? Otherwise it’s hard to say what happend.
The deck you are talking about runs cards that discount themselves for every card drawn.
So if they play a freshly drawn robocaller (which always enters the hand set to 8/8/8) they will draw both of these
Which will be -4 cost because of the 3 cards drawn by robocaller and the card for the turn, so a few more draws will drop it to zero cost.
Ah, that explains it. Thanks Smeet, I’d been wondering how the heck rogues were getting to play 8 cost spells for 0. Should’ve looked more closely at the spell in question.
It is a very good question!
It shows great promise that you’re asking about this card. It means you can spot what’s too strong for this game.
This card is broken. It needs to go
Altair, you are obviously wrong.
I would know, I am professional.
EDIT: Put the period in the end of the third sentence. Tch, tch.
You haven’t even tried it in-game!
A professional 3k Mage player, maybe. Best at sticking to you rank. Never plays anymore.
I intentionally left it to mess with your OCD
If I play now, the prophecy won’t be fulfilled. Just wait… 30/02/2025 is coming.
I don’t think 30/02 is ever coming
My apologies.
Postponed to 31/02/2025.
There is the stupid giant that costs less per card drawn this game, was that the 8 drop he played?
I love it when the question is already answered, and the answerer thanked, and then someone bursts into the thread with a wrong answer
You expect people to read more than the first post. You defy the laws of internet thermodynamics. It became worse after 2010.
I just played against two Rogues in a row who utilized Everything Thing Must Go, and one of them put two Playhouse Giant into play for zero mana:

Their decks did differ, so one player may have been playing some new kind of Cycle Rogue while the other may have been playing Incindius Rogue (with Sonya Waterdancer).
Well…
This is 100% bug Just saying.
If we go with the other cards then robocaller isn’t supposed to either be drew on it’s default form(8,8,8) or get back to it when bounce back.
It is Just not How cards who transform in your hand each turn behave.
It should automatically roll a transformation when draw and maintain the transformation it was played until the end of the turn when bounce back.
A robocaller is a computerized system that makes automated phone calls using a pre-recorded message. Robocalls can be used for a variety of purposes, including:
Telemarketing
Businesses may use robocalls to sell products or services. However, unless the business has prior permission, the call is illegal.
Political campaigns
Political calls about candidates are allowed without permission.
Charitable organizations
Charities may ask for donations through robocalls. However, many of these calls are fraudulent and attempt to exploit generosity.
Public service
Robocalls can be used for emergency announcements or to provide information such as flight status or school closures.
To avoid robocalls, you can:
Block the number
Avoid taking action when prompted by the robocall
Verify the authenticity of the request by calling the phone number on your account statement, in the phone book, or on the company’s website
Donate directly to charities through their official channels
No it’s not
Yes it is
They are returning to default 888 when bounced back.
This for sure isn’t normal behavior on any card.
No it’s absolutely normal behavior.
