Typical/generic scenario. You beat someone in a match and they add you then curse at you then unfriend (AKA sore loser types in a kids card game). Why not make a timer (~10mins) where they cannot chat with you for a short period of time to prevent this? I know some people will say “Don’t add anyone after a match” but it’s nice to have a large friends list to complete spectator quests. Makes the game feel anti-social when this happens.
don’t play ramp druid then people maybe will not hate you
You dont need to accept as soon as sent. Your friends list will grow regardless.
if you are sensitive, then wait a day. I all but guarantee you will have more than sufficient “friends” to complete the spec quest.
Make it like: if you add a friend and unfriend him in less than a week, you can’t add any friends for a month. Also you can’t block your friend’s messages.
That usually works.
I did have one that I added a day later hurl a horrible racial insult at me.
And I lost that game. As a matter of fact, I have gotten quite a few sore winners in my time.
I’m assuming you are intending that retaliation messages after someone unfriends can’t be blocked.
What will probably happen is unsuspecting players will be taken in by friendly emoting and send a request and then be prevented from blocking the other person and be subjected to a massive and continuous stream of abuse.
Every time i add people after a 30min match that ended with my loss, and tell them: “Hey man, that was a very fun match! Thanks for playing that weird fun deck ^^”
They >almost always< respond with: “people usually add me to curse at me, thank you for being kind”
Where do you think that kind of behavior comes from? People having a nurturing predisposition for sore loosing or gameplay stoking the fires with frustrating card design?
I find playing Quest Hunter upsets many people lol
Ingame reporting feature is live.
People who friend you and abuse you verbally will get banned.
this right here, report them
How about if you add someone, message them and delete them, the game sends you one rude message, plus one more rude message for each message you sent the ex friend.
let me guess, bronze 10?
That’s basically what I always do: I wait for a while and then accept. At that time they have no idea anymore who I was or what I played.
Oh, no, not at all. It’s the Angry Chicken rank.
Why accept them to begin with? You’re just inviting them to do it.
But why add them then if they (and maybe also you) don’t know who you are?
There are missions for 1500 XP to play against a friend. And there’s a mission to watch a friend win.
If they’re annoying I just remove them.
