This deck genuinely p****s me off. What deck(s) counters it?

Hyper aggro, kill him before the rain of asteroids hit you.

Or massively gain armor with warrior.

Nothing currently unless you manage to make it to turn 8 with more than 20 health. Glad to see the devs are still huffing paint fumes while working.

DK plagues counter it, once you use helya and have at least 9 in the deck, you should have a good counter going

And they think Quasar was toxic. The Devs are confirmed bad players, who can’t play decks that aren’t easy.

Anything faster than it, a lot of armor or plagues.

I used to counter them with spell damage druid and cycle rogue with everything must go, both of them got killed now.

Anything aggro that can go wide

So far, haven’t lost a game against asteroid shaman, won against it multiple times as spell shaman and once as a sludgelock

I am having a blast with the new Egg Hunter deck. You can make some insanely wide and fat boards fast. Asteroids are basically a joke as they struggle to remove a board full of high health minions and then just keep replaying them to the board.

Best counter is to just play Battlegrounds.
