So what are people using Vol'jin for?

It’s barely a day or two but might as well ask.

I’ve been a couple shamans try to use it like jepetto in pulling out malygos for a OTK

I’ve even seen a hunter got a highroll pulling krush (he otherwise looks like aggro/face hunter, swapping just those two cards for a high roll I guess)

I myself trolled people a few times by swapping their minion out for something they didn’t want kileld, like just now I swapped an already corrupted minion to pull out an uncorrupted one, or one time I swapped a pally’s libram of hope with their liadrin.

I hope somebody has at least pulled a lock’s tickatus or karnerthad prime at least once.

it’s just an anti-combo card aka forever useless

Let’s say it’s the mana cost. Are dirty rat and Illucia useless?
I would definitely use it at 3 mana:P

Duel Paladin (you can use it to your own minions) but you can obviously low roll with it if you don’t have it in hand.

Threw him in aggro stealth rogue with malygos, just for fun, ppl never expect it yet

Turn 6 with a prep and 16 from double sinister

I’ve been using MarkMcKz’s latest deck and using him for swapping a desk imp with Mecha’thun then cataclysm for the win

I’ve seen a few streamers use it in Big Hunter. Vol’jin and Maxima can put out a lot of pressure in the mid-game, use a secret package for the early game and Desert Spear to help ensure you have a minion to trade with your Vol’jin to pull something bigger from hand.

It was good for entertainment the one time I saw it. I was playing druid, and the other guy swapped a small minion on my side for an Exotic Mountseller. I can’t remember if I used the “Thank You” emote or not.

at high legend its used as an efficient tool for “i dont want to deal with that minion right now”

mostly, yes, it’s more effective to smorc than pray to draw one card to counter a combo

This is my current Vol’jin deck, honestly it isn’t as good as the current aggro rogue deck out there , but it is fun and different and allows for ya to pull off a semi otk mid game like turn 7 or 8. And because I suffer from playing the same deck fatigue I am playing this currently

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

I used to use it to change health of opponents big minions to 2 health and then kill them with a small minion on board

Ironically, alot of people are using it for combo decks.

For mana cheating a big minion out (you) or Dirty Rat’ing one of theirs.

removing big taunts out of the way

Successfully used it to get another Zephrys (or other useful card) while maintaining/increasing tempo.

Similar to Barista Lynchen in the same mana slot.
