Very skeptical, can’t even run the Elekk buff they revealed with it because that’s tribe-less. I need to see some really good minions for this to have a chance, imo. It’s a lot of pressure to put on one expansion of cards.

Cool card, actually a good way of implementing Shadowform, if you’re going to build your deck around being in shadowform then you shouldn’t have to draw it from your deck.
Actually an extremely powerful card, gives you the best hero power in the game from T1, 2 dmg every turn for no cards is a big deal.

I like this. It’s an actual win condition for priest besides generating piles of random nonsense which was just as obnoxious when it was mage’s only win condition. I looked at the shadow spells priest has right now and there’s enough good cards in there that you can just run shadow spells. You can still run palm reading, soul mirror, hysteria, and raise dead. The big ones you miss out on are renew, elek, draconic studies, and apotheosis. You should still be fine with just shadow spells in your deck. Wandmaker and Scorpid can still give holy spells and will be run and there’s the new panda that gives spells that aren’t in your deck which will give some holy spells if you need them.
I’m very happy to see this card and it is exactly what priest needs

I’m pretty sure with all the priest hate right now, I’ll be shamed for this post, but…
I really enjoy playing priest, and I’m anxious to see any new cards released for the class.
Though this particular card is a good way to integrate shadow form as others have said, however…
Shadowform priest doesn’t seem to be all it could be until more shadow spells are released…
I’m not sure if viable, but a Shadowform Corrupt Priest sounds fun.
IMO.

Might include in the Dragon Priest deck Im making. Looks pretty cool.
I’m very interested. I don’t think a truly aggressive priest deck is quite there yet but there are some really good shadow spells. We also have Palm Reading, Scorpid, and Importer to find non-shadow ones. Importer could actually be better than scorpid for pure discovery since the pool is so much smaller.
I think it’s at least plausible to be viable at least for this expansion. Maybe viable in the next expansion/mini set.
And at least you can discover holy spells after if you want to try to Rally those 4/3 shadow things.
If this is any good at all, it will be nerfed faster than you can swat a fly.
Yeah, Priest is allowed to have bs rng fiesta that is almost impossible to play around but IS THAT A PRIEST CARD THAT MAKES AGGRO PRIEST P O S S I B L E IM SEEING? HOW DARE WE MAKE SUCH A CARD PLAYABLE!

Priest decks do not exist without apotheosis. It will take some incredibly powerful cards to allow priest to utilize the deckbuilding constraint that forbids them from hard running apotheosis, and even renew in their decks.
So lets see what cards they can print that make a priest deck with no blademaster samuro, no xyrella, no apotheosis, no renew playable.

this is exactly what I though too.
Why changing it if then there is no point in playing 2 of them?
Now there is also no point on playing one of them!
They could have sent it to wild forever and stop, instead of “buffing” it
About this new legendary: very strong effect, power level of baku/genn right here.
Starting with this heropower will make aggro decks cry a lot.
Let’s see if this will become the standard raza priest

Priests can still upgrade Shadowform with a borrowed Wildfire, right?
