So once the DR rogue plays those dragons it’s over?

Wow good one. Games really creative these days.

What dragon are you talking about?

Invincible.

OP isn’t completely wrong. Getting Invincible out early creates a massive increase in winrate, similar to high rolling with Big Priest with Neptulon on turn 3. But DR is a lot more consistent imo.

I said yesterday that as this deck gets more and more attention it’s going to get more complaints and get played a ton more. New decks that are super strong tend to get overplayed real quick as people abandon the old boring stuff.

Silly me for not thinking about an undead horse beast as a dragon :joy:

I don’t have the card and wording is never 100% correct, but can it buff itself? The battlecry says “a random minion” not “another random minion”, so I guess the answer is yes?

No, but the thing is that you’ll likely have 2 invincible on board and they buff each other. And then if they hit Infectious Ghoul, it snowballs out of control extremely fast.

On turn 4 I was staring down an entire board of Infectious Ghouls all with 1-3 deathrattles of summoning more infectious ghouls.

Eager to hear your results.

I did lose my first game with it. It seems like a very fun deck and not so easy to play.

The key card of the deck is the Scourge illusionist. If you draw it with the Sketchy information, snowfall Graveyard getting cheap invincible is almost guaranteed. Even if you don’t, you will get an infectious Ghoul and that card is really hard to remove, especially if you place two of them at the same time on board.

I just played this deck for 10 games and won all of them, the only time I got a struggle was with the warlock.

He was going to win, but he made a mistake and pop up the infectious ghoul. If he would just ignore the minions with infection, he was going to win next turn.

Yea once they two dragons are out it’s basically over. They just buff each other back and forth and get really big. Nerf shockspitter though.

The.mana chewt on illusionist needs to be nerfed. 4 is too much. Should be 2.

It’s the top performing deck in the meta from what I read earlier on Reddit.

There are so many things wrong with the game right now.

Almost as good as you not knowing a horse vs a dragon.

Dragon, horse, they all the look at the same to me after a few drinks.

To be fair, it’s not that different from old Dr rogue relying on drawing Sketchy early on (often alongside graveyard) or else everything feels too slow.

That said, and I may be prejudiced because I loved dr rogue from way back the raptor days, it still is a board based deathrattle deck with 0 off the top damage.

If it becomes a problem I’m sure people can include a starfish to wreck it.

Plus, it does have 0 discovery, so it has finite amount of threats.

The issue is with how consistent DR rogues is, you are dead turn 4-5. Starfish will remove DR but you still die due to the popup turn.

And there is no way to play starfish and clear on turn 5.

That’s just not true.

To begin with the deck actually has bad consistency, it has extremely limited draw.

Even with a godhand, which is very unlikely, you’ll be facing something like 2 5/8s and a 1/3 on t4. That’s good, but very far from “being dead”,especially since there’s 0 off the top damage.

Even worse for the rogue if he got Invincible, since then it’ll just be a 5/5 and a 5/4, far from outright killing you.

You may be confusing it with miracle that does indeed have the draw to put lethal on board by t5. Deathrattle needs several rounds of setup to pop off and develop wide and specific draws and board states to do so.
It’s a good deck, but it doesn’t kill on 4-5, and that’s without accounting for starfish at all.

Well yes you are not technically dead but 2 5/8s and a 1/3 on t4 is in most cases waste of time to even play on as you are pretty much done.
Unless you are rogue yourself.

The miracle variant is equally oppresive but a bit differently.

None of the rogue is fun to play against as you feel they have 3-4 times the mana you do. Or they play 15 cards by turn 3 which is ridiculous.
