So much info where to start

There is so much info to read. As a new player if I wanted to start paying money where should I start? Newest expansion? Oldest set?

I’m getting slaughtered a lot but still fun.

Thinking about it now, this is a good question.
Personally, seeing as how all the classic cards are getting nerfed, maybe it would be best you start with the newest expansion cards Rise of Shadows.

And if you do intend to spend money on this game, do it via Amazon Coins. For 400 dollars, I was able to not only get the entire expansion, but a surplus of dust to craft whatever your heart desires.

Final advice: Just hang in there. There’s always a light at the end of the dark tunnel.
