Blizzard will get people addicted to gambling style of play, which is good for business. If the loss-to-win ratio is in favor of losing, people might think they need better cards and you get more cards by buying packs. Casinos make profits from people who lose, so why not Blizzard too? Itās a carrot-on-a-stick situation, you are made to believe you will be lucky next time (either by yourself or by the āhouseā).
Also, I donāt think the fallout will be that big, if this is true and they get caught. Big companies usually get away with that. Intel had/has some nasty hardware bugs but I donāt think this hit them that hard, their processors are still bought. Facebook has been in some serious privacy issues scandals. Did that make people stop using Facebook? Not really.
I know I sound like a tinfoil hat user, no need to tell me that.
