Snowmen should not be able to be Frozen

Mage spell that summons Snowmen should not be able to be frozen. Doesn’t really make sense.

Snowmen are made of snow. Snow can turn into ice under the right circumstances.

But the snowmen are so cold they can freeze other things…hmmmmm that which is so cold it can freeze should not be able to be frozen itself.

Well, it isn’t mutually exclusive that the Snowman can freeze almost at the same rate that its target freezes. So, the Snowman may be on the cusp of freezing, but manages to attack another minion, thereby expelling onto the target nearly-freezing snow that in the end both targets freeze.

If you’ve ever made a snowman, you’ll find that in certain low temperatures, that snowman freezes and turns into ice.

Yes, just make it always frozen. It should be frozen already, makes perfect sense.

Maybe freeze spells just pour water over the snowmen and turn it into a solid ice puddle-man

Snowmen are naturally frozen, maybe they should always be frozen actually :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re misunderstanding physics here in regard to snow and how snow can freeze. In short, before a snowman freezes, you can throw part of that snowman’s snow at a target. In that time, the snowman remain snow, about to freeze. You lop some of that snow at a target with snow that (namely in freezing temperatures) at a target, and by the time that snow covers said target, that snow can also freeze.

For anyone curious, go outside, make a snowman, and pour cold water on it. Record the results as you get either a slurry man or the ice freezes solid over the half melted snowman.

Depends on the temperature in the area. We used to do this as kids to preserve our snowmen so they’d last. Same concept with Igloos.

Snowman should not make moves, it is irrelevant of what it made of ice or snow. ← period
