I’m starting to wonder about the Snake Oils we’ve seen. Shuffling 2 into your opponent’s deck, gaining some yourself…and then that weird wording that “This seems useless…”
Snake Oil is related to salesmen
Reno always says “We’re gonna be rich!”
Perhaps Reno is a snake oil salesman and his battlecry is gain a coin for each snake oil in each player’s hand/deck and destroy all Snake Oils?

Someone on the boards stated Reno is going to be a Hero Card.
That doesn’t take away from your fun theory of course, but I always envisioned the “this seems useless…” text as a small jest that in a random moment they’re useless… But, if you had some spell power bonuses well… then not so “useless” lol.
I think Reno will be a normal minion like a 6 mana 4/6 with Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, transform into “insert hero card name”.
Might be like “Reno, Townhall Hero”
Reno has had a past of dealing damage, restoring health, an making minions disappear. I think he’ll deal damage with lifesteal. An his hero power will be something nutty like 5 mana “Poof” a minion away type of effect. To help boost the power of Highlander decks for standard tbh.
I’d fully welcome a Reno Hero card. The art he’s dressed like a bandit, so I wonder if his Hero Power is built around that theme.
Maybe his gun is a magic wand lol.
I just hope it’s not another “random” effect like what Mage got before.
Pretty sure it will be a Highlander hero card. It better be good because Highlander leggos so far seem questionable at best.
Snake oil in sif mage is gona be strong.
I like Snake Oils.
It’s pretty obvious that only decks with Spell Damage + can make use of them.
