Best card mage has gotten in awhile, imo.
Just slotted it into my homebrew and it works pretty well.

I am a creature of habit, and deckbuilding intimidates me.
But I have been losing with my homebrew deck for awhile now, and decided to experiment today. 
The card is great. I can freeze a huge minion, and gain armor while also getting a turn to deal with the threat.

i like card generation in my mage decks a lot ! so i run
leyline manipulator x2
sleet skater x2
and mes adune on any deck involving card generation
i run that many because i feel like mesadune will become a dead draw way too often if idont run at leas t 2 copies of anothwer elemental

Even I will admit Sleet Skater is an actual well designed card (which has become increasingly rare to find in Hearthstone). It’s one of my main worries when playing 2500 Armor Druid because they can get 5000 armor.

Dreadful art ,theme and vibe.
They get no thanks from me there, Mage needs more of the style they used for the Sif signature.
The Galactic Orb is the card of the set for me it checks all my boxes.

In terms of function I love the card. It gives me defense and stall.

The only thing it has going for me is its insane power level.
In certain metas it can produce levels of armor that Mage shouldnt have access to.
But when all other classes are on steroids thats fine.
Arcane Artificer is for me the peak in terms of armor mechanics in Mage.

Did you see my decklist? What do you think? I really want to be able to make Dawngrasp/WF/Mordresh work.

Im afraid i cant give you a helpful or even accurate opinion on a deck in the Wild format.
I dont play the mode at all nor do i even watch others play.

Sure, it’s situationally good.
Khadgar is the good card of the set. Universally good. Skater is conditional. The condition being the meta.
not that good at deckbuilding either but you should make room for sing along buddy
not only works when you trigger your hero power
it does with reckless aprentice too

Also not a great deck builder, but agree with Boreas here. You should probably have Sing Along Buddy, and I don’t think you want the secrets or Volume Up at all.
This is one of MarkMcKz’s recent OTK lists. Only runs two spells (Wildfire and Rewind) so they’re more easily drawn and replayed by Dawngrasp. E.T.C. is literally just in the deck for Ice Block so that it isn’t drawn by Starscryer or Frostweave Dungeoneer (ignore the other two cards in E.T.C’s band, Mark usually includes them in E.T.C. as a joke).
Not saying you should copy this list or build and play your idea as an OTK, but maybe you need to cut some spells and include more minions as targeted draw for your important spells
