The new arena is set up entirely for profit. They are literally pushing away all the long term dedicate players that are keeping the game afloat. In order to have any chance at winning up to 7 wins, just in order to play again, you have to get a highroll draft. At least before the curated pools, the insanely power gapped “legendary packages” and the extreme synergy locked expansions, you could still use skill to make enough gold to re-enter and keep playing arena.
There are grounds for investigating the arena and the underground arena as systems similar to rigged slot machines in casinos. I believe Blizzard and its lawyers should be extremely fearful, especially in countries where the protection the US government has against tech giants like Microsoft and Blizzard, which is now Microsoft, doesn’t exist.
No, there really isn’t grounds, you aren’t being forced to spend money on it or the tickets, you can use gold for the tickets an ingame currency you can grind for. I’m not defending Blizz in any way but players need to start looking at these claims realistically
The only “Casino” part of Arena is hoping to win the gold jackpot. Outside of that everything else is just standard mobile game tactics.
