I summoned elementals every turn after the 1st and skarr was on deal 8 damage but when combined with the shudderblock triple battlecry it should do 8 to everything 3 times but instead hit his board but not his face resulting in me losing the game because I couldn’t close it out with the combo, not happy because it’s a cool deck idea
Do you see on Shudderblock where it says the tripled battlecry can’t damage the enemy hero?

If a battlecry deals direct damage then the damage is set to 0.
However if a battlecry creates a spell or a minion and deals damage this way then Shudderblock can deal damage to the enemy hero.

Yeah I realised this a little late ahaha I got confused because the interaction works with kalimos but it’s probably because kalimos dictates that his invocation of fire hits the hero and only the hero and so its not fair for that choice to be completely void if you pick it with shudderblock
The interaction works with Kalimos because the damage is not dealt directly by the battlecry itself.
The battlecry discovers an invocation, and THAT is what deals the damage.
Shudderblock only prevents battlecries that literally say “deal damage”, which Kalimos does not.
