I’m hoping they’ll announce other stuff as well, my fingers are crossed for some new achievements like new hero tiers since they’ve been talking about it a lot lately. I hope the announcement isn’t exclusively for the PvE content.
Thoughts ?

Unless it’s costs becomes equivalent in gold for the number of packs you will get from it, I personally don’t care about it.
Ah, the good ol’ announcement of an announcement. Never gets old lol.
Not an unreasonable perspective from a resource-focused standpoint, but some people actually play games because they enjoy playing the game.
Can’t wait. Been looking forward to this for a while
Yep, did you see the “We’ll also be announcing the launch date (don’t worry - it’s soon!).” ? Their way of saying sometime between now and the next launch.
They’ll soon launch the announcement of the launch date when they announce it at the launch of the announcement that’s announcing the launch date of single player content.
More than 18 deck slots is too confusing for us, though.
If you NEED FULL compensation for playing the game, maybe you shouldn’t be playing the game.
To respond to the date set, ugh. Waiting this long was such a bore, because god forbid they couldn’t put it out, say tomorrow and delightfully surprise us. If they did release tomorrow, then we can get all the wings out quicker, but nope. Welp, here’s to uselessly waiting.
Whoa there young fella! More than 18 decks?? Next you’ll want something like an easy way to sort them.
No, the ability to organize a list or grid of things via drag-and-drop is entirely too new of a technology for me to accurately wrap my head around. Next you’ll be asking me to “click” or “tap” on things on my screen!
I honestly wish I had 81 deck slots.
9 slots is perfect per class since you can make 4-5 viable archetype per class in both wild and standard. Now I’m forced to use 1 deck per class for standard & wild.
The first time we get to wait for the next expansion before getting the adventure for this expansion… 'A week from now we’ll make an announcement on why its a month overdue and why you’ll wait another month after the announcement for another announcement that will precede the next announcement about our newest expansion and why you’ll continue to wait for single player content"… Genius.
I just hope the new single player mode offers more than just “be ready to counter a busted endboss and try not to lose to terrible RNG swings along the way”.
You know those certain Rumble Run bosses were stupid when Blizzard has to nerf them.
what did they nerf ? I wasn’t aware of that
Well.
Bosses aren’t for you play normal matches. Bosses aren’t a player against you for a ranked ladder matches. If you expect something to “fair” in a boss match just not play PvE and use your time in a more constructive way because that isn’t how you develop single player games.
Don’t gonna discuss why blizzard did the nerfs because it can be really any reason like:
The bosses would really be overpowered by their data.
Blizzard wanted to make near impossible runs make for the fact that new people only did need to beat runs once in RR but it backfired.
The only thing i need to say is new adventures have a heroic mode as a extra for who really wants to play against overpowered bosses like in a old fashioned arcade and a story mode for who only wanna packs and maybe know the lore.
They were doing this. The old adventures had normal, and heroic.
You know, like every other game known to mankind. It was a golden age of Hearthstone. Saving up my gold for each wing was so exciting!
Then dungeon run happened. Did alright on mage. Tried it again on priest…
100some runs later…
Still no success. I don’t touch it…ever.
Witchwood releases
I make it to the final boss…and die. Have to start all over. (Every other game has checkpoints, like Call of Duty for example. see what I did there?)
Haven’t touched it since.
Rumblerun releases. Did it once for packs. I couldn’t even tell you what the game board looks like.
I did have to look up a couple answers for Puzzle Lab but then I was told “thats cheating,” and not wanting to be a cheater, I gave up.
I attempt the puzzles and then I get stuck, look up the solution and practice the solution. Repeatedly just to make sure I understand how the cards interact/work together.
Some cool stuff in there but omg, cheater!
#BringBackAdventures
I sincerely considered buying RoS adventure and naxx but decided against it…every brawl is just a chore that I suffer through for my packs.
Solo content has no appeal. I do have fun in Wild and am reading up on drafting/arena. As far as their “announcement of an announcement” goes…I’ll see what its about when its actually in the client.
As for “so much they have to talk about with us” just translates into, “heres meaningless overexpensive crap you can buy.”
I’m sorry to be so jaded but this is not the HS I started playing. At this point, I’m just having fun where and when I can. I’ve gotten hyped so many times just to be let down so hard.
Unless they are balancing wild, I don’t really care.
Kobolds and Catacombs and Lich King runs were PvE content done wrong. We get that people like extra difficult stuff, but it was frustrating to redo all those games for the sake of RNG. I don’t mind Witchwood, Puzzle Labs because those had challenges that were more based on deckbuilding and optimal performance (except Toki, which was the stupidest amount of RNG in the PvE setting since K&C).
Supposedly they’ve learned from those to a degree and will be offering not only greater control over your deckbuilding options that you can earn, but releasing the content in an easier ‘normal’ mode with a ‘heroic’ mode available for those who want a bigger challenge.
YES YES YEEEEEEEES this is the main thing i care about rk i made a entire post (on the right fourm for this kinda post ) asking about if release date was announced and now it will finally!
what would make sense is making Whizbang and other cards classic to fill the HoF void, while also making them readily available to new players.
everyone who already has them gets dust or can just avoid wasting the time altogether.
Sorry guy but lich king in general wasn’t RNG.
Who did put RNG on it was people wanting to cheese it with stuff like negate lich king spell against mage.
With that said there is another way to remove that RNG sensation that i doubt any of the whiners would like.
Remove the ways to cheese the bosses so you have to beat it “like a man”.
I could tell people the other multiple ways to play with toki that aren’t RNG dependant but it is like i said:
People transform it on RNG in the time that they start to chase for a setup to cheese the entire stuff.
So it is 100% fultile to tell.
Anyway they did solve it with another approach. So i guess that everyone wins.
