Silas darkmoon + doomsayer full clear?

Does this works?

yes (20 character attack shark)

It’s 9 mana and 2 cards.

Not impressed.

For two cards (frost nova instead of Silas) and five mana you get the same thing except it only clears their side.

thats mage only, the other is for all classes.

Yes, but 9 mana and 2 cards is a lot to spend. Many classes currently have other ways to handle large boards. Not all do, but part of their class identity and balance is being able to deal with single threats but not lots all at once.

not saying silas doomsayer is a good, worthwile combo to run for board clear, but the comparison to frost nova is apple and oranges

yes, frost nova is cheaper… but it gives you opponent a change to react…kill the doomsay, silence it, play a dr minion, ect

silas doom means that board is gone at the start of their turn, completely unavoidable and as an added bonus, if it’s rez priest there’s now a doomsayer in their mass ressurect pool

yes

Strictly speaking a full clear is a card that silences first and then destroys all minions (except dormant) such as plague of death.

As a warrior you can OTK with him.

Not really popular in standard but it probably gonna be the win condition for wild odd warrior from now on.

It is not a good board clear to run for it’s sake. But maybe if you run a deck that happens to run both of them it may be a nice little bonus to have.

not an ideal combo. probably best to find other ways to deal with a big board… but i guess it’s okay if you get into pinch and need a desperation clear.

Silas is pretty decent - mind control give them a 4/4.

Not the best, but definitely the most fun if you create an infinite loop turn after turn…

How would you do that?

In wild there’s a trick available to rogues that allows them to go infinite with pretty much any combination of minions. Janky and inconsistent as hell, but pulling it off just once is worth hours of losses.

What is it? I’m sure I don’t have the cards for it but I’m always curious.

Using Brann and Shadowcasters to create 1M 1/1 copies of:

Brann
Shadowcaster (×2)
Silas
Doomsayer

That alone takes a couple of turns to set up, then you have the often difficult task of managing your hand size. Like I said, janky as hell, but so satisfying if you can get it to work even once.

It’s a fun combo to use vs Rez Priest: Doomsayer in their rez pool is the worst thing possible for them, even a 1/1 albatross is better. But other than that, meh.
