Sif is out of control

I think most of us can agree that the least fun way to die is a massive OTK burst which Sif enables in spades and then some. Could we tune this back a bit by making hero’s face un-targetable by direct spells on the first turn that Sif gets dropped? This gives the opposing player at least a Chance to respond and still allows the Mage a full board clear with ease, generally speaking.

Agreed… It is a joke how easy the mage can OTK with this crap at the end…

I can be wrong but right now mage is the weakest class or one of the weakest, just too slow to deal with aggro and not fast enough to OTK like many other classes.

The only match favorable are very slow priest control decks, but even them can win with a luck rat.

She’s really not out of control, Mage isn’t really a problem outside of the Naga deck and the fact that it just feels terrible to play against solid alibi still, the board clearing mech is kind of op too but maybe doesn’t need a nerf yet until Mage gets op potentially next expansion.

You’re suggesting that there exists fun ways to lose.

This is not your echo chamber. Do not try to speak for anyone but yourself.

Lets just say… she is one of them… Warlock, Mech rogue, spell druid are also… the game is just getting more and more pathetic…

whats the definition of “out of control”

i thought it was extremely high playrate / popularity

but it isnt
checked its match ups doesnt have that many favorable ones

and it isnt a high win rate deck either…

Lol Sif is garbage.

Try yourself play mage and you will see how hopeless the class are right now.

Can you people please stop suggesting nerfs that make the cards in question unplayable?

Sif Mage is one of the most fair OTK decks right now.

Sif-Naga is x-times stronger than pure Sif

i have literally never seen someone play sif against me nor have i played the signature sif i got. i only play wild though and am diamond 10 to diamond 5 mostly.

This is basically the way I lose to any sif play. Naga mage can basically churn through their deck to find sif.

I’m not particularly mad at losing to it since my opponent is doing crazy APM plays to fit all the naga shenanigans into their turn timer. In fact, since I’m on that Warlock grind, I’m never mad I die to some OTK strategy since Warlocks SHOULD die to that.

If Sif is a fair OTK deck then I am really sad… because it is usually a 90% lose for me if the mage can draw it… and I just can’t do anything about it because not playing brainless aggro deck…

Exactly.

You’re playing a brainless Control deck who can’t do anything other than stall the game and remove Minions.

This. Control has become the brainless player nowadays.

“I can’t win by passing and doing nothing for 15 turns in a row, nerf my enemies!”

Sad really.

No… I am playing MY OWN deck… not control, not aggro… not OTK… MY OWN… I have my own style.

Got it. Let’s be straight then.

Deckbuilding in online games is complicated because you can’t just build the deck you want if you are trying to win something.

You have to put up effective methods to pressure the most common strategies and even in far better balanced games than hearthstone sucessful deckbuilders not pass from 1% of the playerbase.

Basically. You should try playing by the book(AKA using metadecks) sometimes so you atleast get some ideas on how to build your homebrew decks and what is effective or not against certain opponents.

For deckbuilders climb with meta decks sometimes is the same as studying. You can’t escape using they sometimes even if they’re not your favorite part of the game.

This is an advice from someone like you.

In your experience, what’s the most solid deck against warlock, now? Been running into a ton of them around diamond 5. Can’t seem to find anything that beats them and warrior reliably.
