So i was playing Tavern Brawl play a combo that was apparantly buggy with Shudderblock not correctly triggering the battlecrys of Skarr, the Catastrophe and Lamplighter.
I played a few Elementals in the beginning to raise the damage dealt by the cards mentioned above, then used Shudderblock to trigger the effect ( Deal x Amount of damage to all enemies (Improved…) and ( Deal x Amount of damage to one enemy (Improved…) 3 times… For some reason this did’nt work with either of the cards. After Skarr was played i should’ve won the round.
I got a link to a clip taken with medal if needed.
With Shudderblock, the Battlecry you trigger 3 times can’t damage the opponent’s hero… except for Kalimos, for some reason.
Do you see that Shudderblock says the triple battlecry cannot damage the enemy hero?
In the case of the kalimos, his battle cry is not ‘‘deal 6 damage to the opponent’’ his battle cry is discover 4 elemental invocations, it is the invocations that are causing the damage, not the kalimos itself, that’s why in it works

Which is inconsistent with the Exodar having a similar wording but not being able to deal damage with shudderblock
Well it should trigger. It does’nt say it can’t… It just says trigger the effect of the next battlecry minion 3 times. So i don’t see any problem why it should’nt work…
What did you target with Lamplighter’s battlecry and why are you ignoring the last part of Shudderblock’s…
And that that battlecry can’t deal damage to the ennemy hero…
If you play Skarr after Shudderblock, you will deal Skarr’s damage 3 times to all ennemy minions, and 0 damage face
It literally says “… but can’t damage the enemy hero.”
So yes it DOES say it can’t.
Why are you denying what is written on the card?
