Why are Aura’s the only “persistent” spell that are stackable?
I think they should because they are not high impact or direct damage spells and they are subject to a fair class whose win condition depends exclusively on building a board.
Secrets are also stackable and have the same restrictions as auras.
Secrets have counters. Auras don’t.
Just another example of blatant favoritism.

Just because a mechanic exists it doesnt means it needs a counter.
Yes, this was a compensation for Paladins when removers killed all the board based decks and it is still active because Paladin has no resource generating basically, low options for AOE, no mana cheat and no cheap card draws.. However Acceleration Aura helped on that a little, now we have some mana ramping too but it only temporary.
I mean it in the sense that you can have more than one in play in total 5, but yes, you right, however these effects are very conditional and do not compare to those of secrets that are cheaper anyways.
and yet, every single mage mechanic does have a counter, as far as I know. just sayin’

Secrets are not stackable. I can’t have two of the same secret in play at the same time.
What about the mage aura in wild?
Wait a sec, you can have a whole tree of secrets at once in wild. So, no one cheers mage more than I do, but what you said does not seem right to me. What do you mean by stackable?

Yeah that seems wrong. I cant play two counterpsells together..
By the way, I am not against the existence of a counter but i consider the mechanic is still very green and undeveloped, and it does not represent a serious threat to the health of the game for now, wait for the dk or magician to have theirs since it makes sense the first one influences terror and demoralizes the opposite of the crusader aura and the other inflicting arcane damage and i myself will join the cries.
well, team 5 will do what they do:)
