Shop & Battlegrounds Showing Permanent Exclamation Points

  1. The “Battlegrounds” icon in the Shop has a permanent red exclamation point, but there are zero items available to purchase in that section.

  2. The “Shop” icon on the main screen has a permanent red exclamation point, but there are no new items to review, and only the “Battlegrounds” icon has a red exclamation point (with nothing to purchase) within the Shop.

  3. The “Boards” icon within the “Collection” section of the “Battlegrounds” mode has a permanent red exclamation point implying I have a new Board to review, but all Boards have been reviewed and marked as “Favorite.”

These specific, apparently related exclamation point issues have persisted for at least three months. I exclusively play the mobile version on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The game is fully updated. I tried uninstalling it, restarting my phone, and reinstalling it, but nothing changed. Are you able to assist? Thanks for any insight you may have.

Please confirm you are working on a fix rather than maintaining continued silence, and explain why nothing has been done for 10 months.

The most frustrating part of all of this is that I have literally opened THREE seperate tickets for the customer service who all gave me a cookie cutter answer that stated that I was supposed to go to the forums and present my issue there, because there will, and I quote, “a developer reading my post and fix the issue”.

That has been literally months ago. The problem is still persisting. And no matter what I do. When I finish a match, the exclamation point is gone. As soon as I click on the shop, it returns and it shows me that there’s something new to look at in the Battlegrounds store. It’s frankly annoying.

I too work in customer service, and I tell you, if I would work like that, I would have been fired literally years ago.

I’m also experiencing the problem listed in #3 and haven’t been able to find a fix.

Have there been any updates to this? I have number 3 for months now.

This is absolutely sh*t coding. This is such an easy thing to determine when writing the code for this. I don’t know what the developers are doing, but they certainly aren’t paying attention. Send me the source code and I’ll fix this. FFS, this is such an easy thing to fix.

Its a scam guys. The red ! is there to trick you into opening the shop. The devs aren’t going to patch it, its not a bug, the devs are intentionally trying to trick you into opening the shop and looking around. Cant trick players into spending money if you cant trick them into opening the shop first right?
