Shockspitter was a problem but arcane bolt isn’t?

Spamming 3-4 of these with spell dmg isn’t an issue? What determines a problem card?

My view is that it depends on how early this can be done reliably. Aggro mage would only get to OTK your face on the late game and it’s not as consistent in doing so. Generally they kill from multiple damage bursts. Shockspitter hunter would do brann + shockspitter to face for 30+ dmg on turn 7.

But in essence I agree that damage to face from hand is always a dangerous thin line that can become very toxic and unfun if it gets out of hand. I don’t think aggro mage has crossed this line tho. Frost DK is more obnoxious to me.

Mage currently doesn’t have a way to tutor his arcane bolt or arcane bolt generators, whereas hunter has at least breeder. Tracking is also a cheap and effective way to dig through the hunter’s deck.

Then when it comes to setting up the burn, hunter just has to swing his weapon more often, which is hardly a tempo loss or inconvenience. Mage usually has to give up more tempo playing weaker stat minions that generate arcane bolts, or setup a mana discount. The overall mage deck can be built to have tempo to make up for it, but the same could be said for hunter so in the end a hunter is still usually better at putting on pressure while setting up his burn.

If your deck loses to arcane bolt/burn mage, chances are you’d lose just as hard if not harder against hunter.

what is thread about ?

are you reeeeeelay trying to tell us … shockspitter deck being tier 1 isnt enough for you?

Just how fast that got nerfed but yet they can’t nerf anything else that fast?

they were right to nerf it

is a tier 1 deck after the nerfs and you think it woudlnt be better if they never nerfed it ?

Incase you haven’t noticed Shockspitter is still extremely strong.
