I didn’t play much yesterday but I haven’t seen anyone use the new card against me. I’m guessing its purpose is to clump in some tech cards that you wouldn’t otherwise include in your deck.

Wow I just realized you don’t have to put 3 minions inside, it let me queue with only 2. You could probably hide just 1 minion in there so if you get theotar’ed they don’t get other options and can’t see what is inside before stealing it.

Also, nozdormu is banned from being in there too.

One reason I could see why you would like to add Sir D into ETC’s band, because then you don’t have to draw it. Sir D is a dead draw early, even though you want him in your hand for the infusion.

My ETC’s band with Relic Demon Hunter:

  • Chaos Nova
  • 5 mana taunt, divine shield: draw your highest minion
  • Silence-Fish.

Theo to deal with any combo decks, although tbh it adding the extra cost onto theo against like combo druid makes it too slow.

Rivendare for DK blood mirrors. Acts as a final wincon, adds cards to deck incase it goes to fatigue, adds fodder for patches to target so more important stuff doesn’t get deleted.

Starfish for general silence tool.

I think the best use case for ETC band manager is going to be spell/quest DH, though might just be a spell DH now that quest is nerfed.

Idea being, EBM lets you choose 2 extra situational minions to put into your deck, meaning they will be able to likely run Jax (or w/e the 8 mana repeater guy is called) + Lady S’theo both as finishers.

Other than that, I’m having a really hard time seeing a purpose to the ETC band manager card, unless they print a lot of cards that have text like

“Battlecry: if this minion didn’t start in your deck, do some powerful crazy crap.”

In which case ETC will be the obvious way to activate these cards consistently.

As a 4 mana 4/4 with no text, its basically unplayable in todays power-creep world, so its a major tempo hit, unless playing him has some further purpose.
