Shaman without Bloodlust is like Chicago without Deep Dish Pizza

How can you do that to Shaman?
The soul and identity of Shaman is lost.

I am really sad to see this change. Anyone else?

It’s not the same or nearly as versatile, but Nofin Can Stop Us is like Arbor Up for murlocs and can work as a finisher

Early number 1 Legend with Midrange Shaman:

You can try a different type of list or use Nofin Can Stop Us or Kazakus for burst.

Just because control players cried about burst dmg, they took out bloodlust which was completely fine, actually last meta shaman was the least played class even WITH bloodlust

Meanwhile they keep the “identity” of Rogue with Shadowsteps and inifinite draws…lol

They removed it from WOW too and gave Paladins a “Hero”

Last meta Jambre hit top 1 legend with midarange shaman. It does not mean much to be honest, the deck was still tier 4 at best and saw almost no play.
One person picking up a deck at a very specific field ( top 100 legend) and having a good streak does not mean the deck is good overall.

Thematically, shaman still has their nature stuff, and windfury stuff, and they brought back some elemental stuff

As a finisher, aside from bloodlust, the class still has a bunch of nuke spells, and windfury/doomhammer.

Whether they’re viable is a different matter

Just imagine how fun your Murloc or Totem or anything Shaman swarmy would have been with Bloodlust

Now that you mention it, it seems likely that they retired Bloodlust in part in order to promote the new murloc buff card

If a deck can be competitive against the best players in the game, then yes, it’s a good deck. Or more specifically, it’s a deck with great potential.
Jambre took that Midrange Shaman deck from Bronze 10 with a 10 star bonus and took it all the way to high legend. That means he faced the best players playing the best decks and beat them.
Can you truly say that the deck is bad after that?
Moreover, have you tried his deck yourself? I have played Jambre’s lists myself. I went 7-2 with one list and 2-2 with another. In at least one of the games I lost, I made a misplay that could have easily changed the game’s result.
I posted the list in my original response in an attempt to help OP since OP seemed to be looking for a good Shaman list. I myself crafted the one card I needed for that list and will be trying it out when I get around to it. It might turn out to be terrible once the meta resolves itself but for now, it’s a viable option for Shaman players.

that isnt midrange, that is burn shaman (its still a very effective counter to spell mage)

I am definitely sad to see it go but I guess Wild beckons. Perhaps Mage’s Flamestrike is next…

Thematically it kinda sucks, but honestly I’m really glad I won’t have to stress because Shaman has 3 minions on board and I need to constantly react to what they’re doing.
