Shadowtouched Kvaldir is bugged with Shadow Form.

If you’re in shadow form, using your hero power will cause the effect to disappear. Cost me a few wild games before I understood why my Zombie Chow “randomly” still healed the opponent sometimes despite having used zero healing effects (nor Lifesteal).

I’ve also validated this as the cause of the problem against the Innkeeper, using Darkbishop Benedictus as my means of entering shadow form:

  1. play Shadowtouched Kvaldir, take note of the visual effect on your hero portrait
  2. Use the Mind Spike hero power, note how the vfx disappears
  3. trigger any healing effect and you’ll notice it heals instead of dealing damage

I tested by curiosity, any hero power will do that. I played Finley to switch to the DK HP and summoning the ghoul made me lose the kvaldir effect

Thanks for testing that. Now I’m wondering though, does this also happen when a different class gets a Kvaldir and used their HP? Or is it tied to your class being Priest?
