This is one of the least broken things going on in standard right now.

Still broken, but laughably slow compared to almost everything else.

If you don’t have a mage dead by turn 10… it’s fair game. If you’re running into a lot of mages slip in a Dirty rat in your deck along with Disruptive spellbreaker and a Blademaster Okani nerver hurts to have. I have found these cards very helpful against mages.

This is the most deserved situation I have ever seen.
Good for that Mage!

Odyn Warrior player talking about ‘doing nothing’ until you hit for 60 to face … sure.

This is literally what I was thinking too- a WARRIOR of all people coming here to say this, the audacity of some people LMAO

Mage for sure but not Rogue. The Drilly tutoring is incredibly fast and powerful.

Yeah, scourge illusionist should have been reworked ages ago.

Surviving and playing 8 spell schools isn’t doing nothing. Mage has a burst combo that can reach insane numbers if left unchecked, meaning Warrior has to be the aggressor in this matchup. If you aren’t putting any pressure on the Mage and you let them get away with spending the early and mid game doing nothing setting up their win condition instead of defending their life total, they will reach their win condition before you have time to kill them.

i dont pretend to be a great player im a novice and i dont have all these great legendary cards, all i was saying is if your a new or casual player you really arent gonna win many games unless you meet someone the same which is rare because they dont bother playing after getting beaten every game by players who have every card possible lol

unfortunately if you want to play competitively in standard it’s a p2w game. i build and play fun decks in wild and always have. my cards don’t disappear and i can be creative with building which is why i play ccgs. if you want to jump on the “meta” train good luck because you’re going to be needing to buy lots of packs of cards. the best part is when they “rotate” which means disappear. then you get to buy more packs to chase the “meta” again. save yourself now and play wild before it’s too late. i know someone who spent $1200 on buying packs of cards because he only wanted to play standard and then quit the game. i tried telling him to play wild but for some reason people fall for the “standard” name every time.
