I could not help but notice the continuous drop in quality of rewards for these events.
Its like the game is dying and the devs even cut the amount of pixels it gives for free to make up for the player loss, lol.
I already have multiple packs from the last event rewards, so I am not understanding your expectation.
I feel like the game has never been more generous that it is right now, yet somehow it is still not enough?
Its not about packs.
These events usually gave a hero skin, which was cool, i liked it.
But, golden common cards… pff.
I mean, its free, sure, but like i said… i cannot help but notice the decrease in reward quality.
I personally do not care about cosmetics at all. Despite having many hero skins, I really do not even bother to change them.
But I guess having more cards and dust is less important than looking cool?
Hey man, each with his own
You can see the entire event tracks list here
https://hearthstone.wiki.gg/wiki/Event_Track#List_of_Event_Tracks
And you’ll notice that they regularly don’t award a skin, at a rate of about 1 every 3 event tracks since the beginning
I think this game is one of the most generous in the genre.
I quit for two expansions, and came back, and it is like I never left. Between catch up packs and the dust I had from prior, I crafted every mage card I was missing, as well as every neutral I needed. I have spent very little money to play this game overall since Beta.
Well…
The events are lame.
Sure i take the free stuff but we could have some PVE with it.
Ideally since the original version is free they could put signature versions behind a event wall.
I really miss the old adventures. You earned the cards and got a cool storyline…
sigh.
Agreed, game is completely lame since they stopped making adventures.
The “hint” daily quests are peak levels of goofballery, and not in a good way.
TO DO YOUR QUEST DAILY YOU MUST ANSWER THESE RIDDLES THREE.
Bruh shut up n tell me what the exact quest is.
Blizzard’s teams ain’t what they use to be.
I don’t like the sphinx quests either.
If I want a mystery I will read Agatha Christie.
Bleh, not sure what these ones are, but got the
o → ll
Hint: LORD OF THE ARENA quest
Tried attacking a taunt minion twice, nothing happened.
Then arena counted. I think, not sure but it completed.
The other was a moat lurker and i didn’t figure that one in the reroll, deathrattles maybe?
The game just keeps going in the wrong direction. It feels like they are trying to milk a dying cow.
Good to see you back my friend. Hope all is well.
I’m really well, Ray! good to see you on too:)
I actually really enjoyed the single player story lines as well. If Blizzard continued to actually put in the effort and make awesome single player campaigns I would once again purchase it.
Since they can’t be bothered I can’t be bothered to spend any money on this game I just let my dust accumulate and just craft cards that are needed to play the meta.
I think Blizzard greatly underestimates how many people play this game for the fun of it rather than the frustration that is their competitive modes.
Bring back the story lines and campaigns.
Hear, hear. The old adventures were the pinnacle for me. You save your gold, and have to buy the adventure, and then, earn the cards through completion. Interactive, challenging, and still f2p, if you manage your resources correctly. A few were actually nightmares. Remember the en passant chess board for the card back?
Here is a cheat sheet for the quests.
I guess the idea is that singleplayer can be replayed and doesnt need to be remade per expac.
It might also be that wow was a company that neglected developing WOW during wod and bfa underage the “profit per dollar” metric that saw them making meh content because… “Candy crush makes 10000$ per 1$ spent. Wow makes 10000$ per 100$ spent. What terrible returns!!!”
I could see the same creeping to single player content. Though i feel like bgs match the same itch with more replayabilty and i just concede if i dont want to pay for 4 heroes and dont want to play my 2.
Works fine for me.
