Using the **“WOW” emote on the Hunter during a ranked match against a Warrior while a specific card was dealing damage to minions caused a script error and crash, leading to a game disconnect.
Description: In a ranked match, when playing as Hunter and using the “WOW” emote during the animation of a Warrior card dealing damage to minions, the game encountered a script error, resulting in a crash and subsequent disconnect. This issue disrupts gameplay and forces the player to reconnect to the match.
Expected Result: The “WOW” emote should function normally without causing errors or interruptions, even during complex animations or interactions.
Actual Result:
- Using the “WOW” emote as Hunter during the damage-dealing animation of a Warrior card triggered a script error.
- The error caused the game to crash, forcing the user to reconnect to the ongoing match.
Build: build from 25/01/2025
Notes:
- The issue seems to involve the interaction between the emote system and the card animation scripting.
- Reproducibility is intermittent but occurs more frequently during high-animation-intensity moments.
- dont know if Affects ranked matches only.
