Saw a new record in Wild

Playing some wild for yolo’s. And first time in my life I saw a Rogue on turn 1 play 10 cards. That class is eye roll-y as F.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. Treat Wild as a joke. They can barely balance Standard as it is (if it’s even balanced); Wild has an exponentially higher complexity[because it has multiple times more cards]; that in turn means it does not have a single chance to be balanced (unless there are dramatic shifts in how the game and the company operate).

I’m aware. Got lil bit bored, and unsettled so spent 1,600 dust on a wild card to play with lol.

Already got the joy of seeing Rogue drop 22/22’s an a Priest with Sword of a Thousands Truth on turn 5. An a Mine Rogue combo me for over Max HP. Feeling great.

I saw a priest on round 4(or 5) producing from an 1/1 minion 2X 35/1 minions that killed my hero in the same turn. Pure comedy. I use it for doing Achievements and getting XP from quests so I don’t care.

I left the game for two years. Upon return, even shaman is still at the top. I feel the meta hardly changes for wild. It’s very easy to accumulate the cards for wild as once you have a tier 1 deck, you don’t really need to keep investing in new cards every season.

The fact that it’s hard to balance means the top deck will stay top for a while.

For me it’s simple. Standard appears to be barely balanced or at some patches they fail and it’s barely imbalanced, therefore Wild has no chance to be balanced because it’s exponentially more complex mathematically therefore it deserves no respect at the subject of balance unless new developments produce seismic shifts in the way the Devs and generally their design treats Wild.

The Sword of a Thousand truth can be equipped on turn 4 in priest :+1:

I played way too much Wild this month; I was doing achievements in it; I learned a lot about the game for the first time there because I had to go through all the classes and a lot of archetypes of decks (some of them too bizarre and not played by anyone).

Part of what I learned was that it’s pure comedy at balance; priests who kill you without a board at round 4 by turning a 1/1 minion to 2 lethal 35/1s; rogues who play 10 cards at round 1 and so on.

Sorry but some of us value balance together with fun; we can’t have fun if the game is broken; Wild is a joke at balance sorry it’s just the truth I won’t lie because you don’t like my truth.

Lol my thread…
Anyone wants some humor about wild mode, last season I managed to be under 1k Legend in the mode.

This season however, I cannot win for the life of me :joy:. I think after tonight I’m maybe silver 9 I think? An that’s with a 10 star bonus so I hardly ever win.

It has become obvious why the mode has dissatisfied players. Your looking at what? 15+ expansions for this mode an maybe 5 decks that will destroy anything else? Makes you understand why Twist A.) has hope for players to enjoy older cards. An B.) anyone who plays wild will know that any Twist packs you purchase will be crap for wild lmao.

Really puts it into perspective how many bots used to be in the mode before the ban wave. That an how poorly my deck does against real players. I have seen 0 Pirate Rogues an Even Shamans.

Nowadays I get destroyed by Shadow Priests, Mine Rogues, Giant Rogue, Time Warp Mage, Demon Seed Warlock, and recently some crazy greedy Druid Highlander Guff combo deck ffs.

And thats only the surface :grin:

What deck are you playing in wild.
