S tier expansion. Good Job Blizzard!

It’s a surprisingly fair and mostly correct observation of the game currently. The problem is Zilliax Warrior is warping the game and pushing out any board based strategy. If you fix the Zilliax issue i guarantee you there are decks that beat Druid regularly. Not to mention allow more decks to emerge into the meta. They just cannot compete against the Zilliax spam. There’s an easy fix to zilliax that doesn’t destroy the card but i think they are too stubborn to make the change or they actually want it to be like this.

I feel like a more elegant solution is to change Hydration Station to resurrect three different minions (still among your highest cost).

It’s just make all effects from zilliax modules trigger onto a BC effect. You play it from hand and you get the Zilliax you built. You bring back copies and they have no effects on them. Fixes the location as well to be used with the minions it was meant to be used on.

I almost 100% sure that they did some spaguetti code that prevents this without re doing the entire card from 0.

And sincerely considering how much usage the perfect module has it could just eat a nerf and lose taunt so reborn taunts with DS don’t exist anymore.
Maybe even add taunt to some other module that would make things less obscene like the recursive one.

I originally was thinking that just removing taunt would be enough but considering how the card works i think it’s just better to make it all on a BC effect. I just don’t trust them to spend enough time figuring out the real cost each module should be and limit combinations that way.

I am enjoying the expansion so far. WIth priest being my second most played class, I am still glad that priest is not really being played at the moment. I do see nerfs in Warriors future along with druids  But still having a lot of fun.

Have you ever noticed the people unhappy with this game have barely commented on the forums, but the ones defending everything this company does have posted thousands of times?. Like who constantly posts here and actually plays the game?. Just wondering when you have time to play it?, with your busy schedule.

What i have noticed is that those that are “unhappy” with the game tend to employ alt accounts to spill vitriol that ends up breaking the terms of service.

Its not that those people dont have accounts with many posts they are just unable to provide criticising without the use of insults and other crude methods, and so a barrage of new users on the single digit post count floods this forums every single expansion.

They wont risk their main accounts but are happy to waste everyones time( including their own) with misery.

I’m pretty sure you’re replying to one of those right here in this thread.

What I have noticed is the people who are most unhappy with the game are looking for the game to be what it was five or more years ago instead of enjoying what it is now.

Hearthstone isn’t the same game as it used to be and it won’t ever be that game again.

There is an absolute ton of different things to play right now, I agree.

I haven’t played standard since the new set, so I won’t comment on how fun the meta is, though.

I just recieved my very first system message telling me that my post in this thread was flagged as trolling and that it was removed for breaking the guidlines.

Do I just wait until the post gets restored by an moderator or do I have to contact them myself? I don’t see any option to respond to the private message.

There isn’t any, you’re supposed to just suck it up and move on.

Very disappointing. All I said was “Druid and Warrior need some adjustment but I’m having fun.”

Apparently this was enough for some people to flag my post as trolling and have it removed entirely. This is blatant abuse of the flagging system.

This expansion definitely has a lot of new decks for a lot of difference classes.

However, it also has a bunch of decks that are ending games a bit too fast for both aggro and OTK.

Both can be true at the same time.

I feel like it needs a slight adjustment on the power to bring some of these decks down a turn or 2 in terms of how fast they end games.

The DH charge deck, for example, is near unstoppable if it highrolls and it’s super unfun when it happens to you. Turn 3 blowouts are pretty common. Pirate Shaman is right up there as well with how much stats it spits out in a few turns.

The Warrior taunt thing needs to be addressed because most classes cannot deal with that.

In particular, the most “unfun to play against” decks to me seem to be Pirate Shaman, Pain Warlock, Pirate DH, Taunt Warrior, Combo Druid and Lamplighter Rogue. I haven’t seen any Paladin at all despite the fact they are on top with the best decks so I can’t really say what that feels like to play against yet.

Those are the decks I imagine will get a slight nerf.

I feel bad for Mage and Hunter. Mage is pretty much dead once the Lamplighter gets nerfed unless they nerf all those other decks and allow BSM to exist, and Hunter is really struggling because they are suffering from “bad Priest cards” that often plagues the Priest class due to the tourist.

This is like the first time ever Hunter isn’t relevant and it’s because of that. Welcome to the club!

IDK if elemental decks really need to be hit too hard.

I would personally make it 4 mana killing only rogue in the process and consider good enough.
Paladins are allowed to have worse burst with tools like lifesteal Minions with DS and rush.

100% agree. Lamplight played from the CORRECT type of deck is perfectly balanced and a good finisher card. It’s only broken when it gets replayed for nothing and there’s effectively more than 2 copies in the deck.

If they are determined to keep Step in Rogue forever the discount needs to be removed from the card when it bounces. The card is balanced enough with how cards are costed in current HS.

Yes, when it’s played fairly. Rogue isn’t playing with it fairly. And thus, it gets nerfed (0% chance they nerf shadow step or breakdance). So it’s going to go to 4 mana and that’s going to really kill it for Mage. 4 mana doesn’t let Mage bounce it or play 2 + fireball or whatever damage to finish the opponent off.

Mommy, Rogue isn’t playing fair, nerf it pls … seriously ? thats the class identity, and every class has access to bouncing minions with the 4 neutral minions aka 4 x brewmasters + Zola.

Now, would like some cheese to go with that whine ?
