Round battle time should not impact shop time

This issue is specifically for Hearthstone Duos Battlegrounds. There seems to be a loop hole where you and your teammate can select reborn minions and force opposing teams to lose their time in the shop in between rounds. It’s very frustrating to be in a game and just because your teammate and the other team chose reborn minions or minions that take extra long battle time, you lose your time spent in the shop.

Can this be looked into? I feel the simple fix is make the shop automatic timer and the shop time is not impacted by how long the prior battle lasted. It’s being exploited so much that pretty much every other game I’m experiencing this now.

Auto close the game when you see this, restart to get max shopping time

Wouldn’t even matter, if the turns take too long, yours automatically gets like 5 seconds (if that) and turns over.

What? No, you get 1-2min shop time if you close game and restart it.

It’s very embarrassing that they haven’t fixed that yet. It shows lack of skill on basic software engineering. E.g. they can derive the maximum animation time of all pairings and apply it as extra time/overtime only to affected players to keep it fair; they may think there are security issues with collecting the sum of that time; it is secure if they have a hardcoded estimation of animation time sum themselves or it’s probably secure by just leaving it to the clients if the “OK I watched the anims” is an encrypted timestamp with a public encryption key owned by the server.
