Look at the Meta and Rogue not as good as you think.
Shadowstep really needs to be given the hall of fame treatment. It’s been in standard way too long and warps every rogue deck ever made. So many cards have been nerfed around shadowstep, but for some reason blizzard refuses to remove or alter it in any way.
Rogues are great right now… just not at your rank where people don’t play them properly.

OP claims is everywhere at all ranks …peopel arent playing this as much as they did with elemental mage before the patch
the most played rogue deck is starship rogue a tier 4 deck and that one is probably the one monsterparty and the other guy are talking about (weapon rogue doesnt run shadowstep)

Have you looked at top 1k stats recently?
If you sort by total games, the top three decks are rogues. Two cycle rogue variants and one weapon rogue.
There’s plenty of rogue and it’s plenty good in the right hands.

Rogue is really good atm. I have incindius and starship decks both are solid and able to win most of my games, I do have pressure points rogue but that deck has somewhat harder time to contest the board hence I wasn’t having positive winrate due to the prevalence of Zarimi priest and aggro shaman.

Quasar Rogue may be gone, but the class is more diverse and popular than it was before, approaching a 30% play rate at top legend.
Rogue has exploded at legend. It’s literally everywhere and it’s one of the strongest classes in the game. I see it all day long. It’s my second most popular opponent following shamans. Maybe when Monsterparty breaks out of bronze/gold ranks he’ll start seeing what they’re capable of doing

anyone can see the low tier starship rogue doubles weapon rogue playrate at all ranks …
The problem is piloting decks like cycle rogue is difficult even more so after nerf, I have to relearn how to mulligan and make decisions on the fly, I was experimenting with deafen (instead of glacial shard) as well but the payoff ain’t that great. It’s not the deck that you could just play on curve.
As someone who loves thief rogue, I’d be ok with the more miracle aspect parts of the class taking a back seat.
On the other hand, miracle style decks are the most skill testing decks in the meta and should not be wholesale erased.
