I look forward to tanking my ranking tomorrow experimenting with various rogue decks while some people will juat play meta decks with a few inclusions or the latest otks.

Itā€™s a very maybe scenario for a card that does nothing for 6 mana and then you can end up with a bad hero card choices. I played it in arena and my choices were are bad. I ended up choosing the lesser evil by taking the cheapest one deathstalker rexxar, which is garbage. So yeah if you highroll cariel itā€™s ok but overall unplayable.

I actually thought dk rexxar was gonna be one of the best to discover because of the cost and battlecry effect

Nah 6 mana do 2 dmg aoe is so garbage. The her power is so useless. Itā€™s kinda endless value but so expensive Itā€™s unplayable in modern hs.

Most of the old hero cards suck big time. You need to discover the ones from alterac valley like tavish cariel rokara to be remotely worth it.

I got offered 3 choices from the lich king. Rexxar, garrosh and the paladin one. Every one of them is slow and garbage xD

Most of the hero cards are too slow for standard, I agree.

I thought that Dk rexxar or malfurion would both be some of the better options. Mainly i figured you would be looking for Guff though xDā€¦

Depending on the mu. But do rogues really need guff? I donā€™t think so. They play cheap stuff not big mana intensive big spells or minions. Playing maestra and guff is already big tempo loss. And Excavate rogue is pure tempo focused deck so I doubt this card is good enough. Besides warlock cards kinda donā€™t do anything for burgle rogue.

Guff can still enable a lot of crazy things even with a relatively cheap deck. Draw is one of the options for the hero power so you can still leverage having extra mana pretty effectively and make big plays. Especially if your are getting expensive cards from other classes that would be otherwise hard to play.

Its definitely matchup dependent like you said. But i think any value burgle deck is going to have a polarized matchup spread going into this expansion if multiple otk decks are actually good

I dunno Guff is another do nothing turn basically. And your spells from scorpion are all pretty much 1 or 2 mana so do you really need Guff? I donā€™t really think you can use that 20 mana like druids can.

There are better heroes imo. And most of them are not good enough.
