Rogue playing 10 cards in 1 turn

So rogue is playing 10+ cards ( for 30+ mana value) on turn 5 meanwhile i can play max 2 cards usually for 5 mana value, how does that even make any sense?

I decided to make new account to play rogue also! this way i don’t have to spend money thanks blizzard

Because the game is truly and officially “broken”, when that occurred exactly is up for debate, but it does appear to get worse over time.

only 10?

Since I need 20 characters to post.

The episodes of Percy Jackson on D+ are too short.

Just wait a few more years. Then the power creep will reach 30 cards on turn 1.

everyone I know uses ranger bots, what does it matter if the rogue plays ten cards in one turn? 90% of players play for free on the backs of a 10% who look like a cash cow…

Stop complaining about Rogue. That is simply not allowed on this board.

Of course. It’s different when rogue does it.

When libram pally plays 10 cards a turn (each card doing exactly one specific, limited thing), that’s broken.
But when rogue plays 10 cards a turn, each doing a different useful thing, sometimes greater individually than just +1/+1 or HEY LOSER, that’s fine (“hey didn’t rogue also used pen flinger” SHUSH IT’S DIFFERENT WHEN THEY USE IT)

Wait until you play demon hunter haha

Won’t somebody think of the poor Paladins. About time they caught a break.

Wild Gadgetzan Druid says hello…

Perfect example of what I was talking about.

My post was pointing out that rogue is doing something near the level of paladins, if not better.

And that rogue will magically get a pass while pallies will continue to be bashed.

And he came right in to do just that.

The game is rigged. Sad!

imagine that you are a longtime player who got bored of Aggro years ago. now imagine there’s a new deck possibility, Reno Paladin!

but in two weeks its deck sorting and AOE control cards are nerfed into oblivion, which tangentially also very slightly slows down the Aggro Paladin, which needed a much harsher nerf.

i mean i get your point about Aggro but the only fun alternative got booty-blasted into uselessness. observe that Aggro Paladin is still Tier 2, while every flavor of Reno Paladin can’t even sell its bum on the corner for wins.

yeah somebody really should think of the Paladins, at least the ones who are striving out here

Isn’t that the current Thaddius Warlock deck?

VS 280

Pure Paladin is absolutely, utterly broken. This is one of the strongest displays of dominance we’ve seen in recent years. The deck is so far ahead of the field, with reliable counter options looking scarce.

VS281

  • Is Excavate Rogue broken? Not really. The deck seems good, but it’s remarkable that it displays such an absurdly high play rate at top legend. We do have some good explanations on why it’s popular, and why there’s a little bit more to its power than is initially perceived.

only 10 cards ? … hold my beer said Miracle Rogue in the last 8 years !

Rogues are comedic this patch. They can get unlimited legendaries with only 5 mana because they can use Wishing Well and a pouch of coins (and that’s only ONE example that makes them comedically OP).

But seriously: even all the reputable statistics sources agree; e.g. vicioussyndicate and firestone show them comedicaly above 50% win rate on the top players of legend; pala is only ~35% lol…

uh and at the same tier 1?

and you are confusing wishing well (a tier 3 decks )deck with excavate

excavate deck which is the best rogue deck doenst run wishing well

let me guess you are using rogue best deck win rate for wihshing well ( it worst deck)

and at the same time for paladin you are using the class worst deck ( reno ) for the win rate of the best decks(earthen and pure )

Lol of course you are defending and using Paladin as an example. It’s the most popular class in this game, mainly due to being easy to pilot and pick up. Libram Paladin (as you are defending) was one of the most cancerous decks in hs history with the inclucsion of Pen Flinger, playing deal 1 dmg 30 times for 1 turn. Perfect example against Rogue good job.

The more I read on these forums (especially Reddit) the more I realize that the main problem of this game is it’s playerbase, people are massive hippocrates defending what they prefer and despising everything that stands a treath to it.

Well I’m gonna do the same cuz fcxk it. Rogue is trash rn it just pukes out useless sht over and over and has to highroll multiple times in a row to stand a chance (which is not super hard) that is why it has a decent winrate. The deck is super polarizing, if you draw drilly early and has no way of shuffling it you have basically lost, terrible game design.

You’re in the wrong thread. This thread is “rogue playing 10 cards in 1 turn”, not rogues being tier 1 or how classes are rated on VS.

Should’ve taken the hint when you see me bring up libram (ok technically libroom too) paladin. You know, a deck that’s not even relevant to today’s VS reports.

…what am I defending?

I’m not defending paladin. Nor rogue. I’m just not attacking them either.

All I’m saying is hey - remember how paladins had this thing everybody thought was OP back in the day? Well rogue is basically doing that all the time when they got some miracle stuff going. But the people (people, not me) will somehow think one is fine and the other is not.

I’m just pointing out the silly double standards people have. It’s not a defense or attack of the class in the game.
