It has near 10% play rate at the top of legend and it’s 3% away at win rate from the 2nd. It can’t get more overpowered than that.
No the nerf it got is not big. It kills by spamming pirates and that card was only an alternative route.

No the devs arent “alergic to nerfing Rogue”, fun fact its the class with the most nerfs ever in the game.
The only bias i see for Rogue is that Shadow Step is still a standard card, all other classes had their core rotate at some point.

Irrelevant. It has ~10% play rate and it’s ~3% ahead at win rate against the 2nd best. It is by definition overpowered.
PS Those meta tyrants are countered by their MIRROR mainly. At 20% playrate you will see it drop a little at winrate.

As long as rogue cards are made with the assumption they will always be either prepped out or shadowstepped, they cant really remove those cards.
Bouncing minions and discounting cards is so core to the rogue combo identity (as in combining cards, not necessarily the keyword itself) im not sure they have taken the time to consider how to acheive that without those 2 cards.
Its easier for them to leave them in i guess than to just make new core cards that essentially do the same thing.
In classic, rogue was about sacrificing card advantage in hand for tempo on board. Now that card draw is so readily available to everyone, it doesnt feel like you really give up card advantage anymore. You still sacrifice 4 deck slots in every rogue deck for 0 mana cards that do nothing by themselves. There are certainly drawbacks to cards like prep and shadowstep, but I get why they have gotten old for people regardless.
What does rogue do without them though? They would have to adjust the mana cost of many rogue cards for the class to be viable without them

Yea its not big surprise rogue is the best deck in the meta after nerfs.
before nerfs it was, everyone thought most of that was due to harbringer… but no. i told ppl that harbringer when it pops off is a great hedge against certain decks that are otherwise problematic, but its easy to rebuild rogue decks since all the cards are so cheap.
The mana cheat pirate is a big offender, coupled with bounce.
Other than that free or nearly free draw (being able to draw through deck by turn 5 or 4) is insanely broken.
Basically theres a lot that would have to be fixed.

BTW,
I think spell-druid is a pretty solid deck that has no real weakness versus any rogue deck I’ve played.
So far in the positive winrate versus all rogues with owl-spell-druid.
Also, it’s probably the only high-er skill cap deck in the meta, so the only fun deck to play if you dont want to be playing brain-dead plays 24-7.

It’s not a huge deal to find a counter. Eg it appears that most DHs are good against the rogues, but it’s the total matchup spread and winrate that matters.
Frankly it’s too annoying this month to bother with netdecks. I’ll just play a homebrew-ish deck and whatever happens (no much time either).

The first Last of Us is a masterpiece one of the best stories ever told in gaming, dont play the other one its a huge downgrade.
God of War is also good, Christopher Judge voicing Kratos alone makes the game worth it.
