Rogue decks in in standard

Can someone link me some viable rogue decks? ty

Tempo is your best bet right now.

Some folks run Zephrys to find lethal post-Myra’s. Probably not a bad idea.

It’s good against Mages and Paladins but auto lose to warriors.

Wait hold on, the enemy rogue is on his 15th Tess right now but 20 more in the deck to go, as soon as I get a chance I’ll get to it.

In the meantime just complain about how warrior and Dr. Boom are broken and need nerfs okay?

You really think Tess Rogue needs a nerf?

No i’m just pointing out how other classes have access to far more value than warrior but we don’t have a problem with them. I’ve played Rogue with one scheme and no Tess (can’t get myself to craft it) and I have managed to discover it and shuffle many of them back in the deck.

I have seen more refined versions in ladder that can do this consistently. I once faced a rogue that played 7 Tess and still had about 15 more in the deck and every time it was played it was able to fill the board, fill his hand and do Aoe to kill or freeze anything I played.

I still like nomi in rogue, can be run alongside zephyr. So often when I see player play myra on stream I think by myself:well if he had nomi here it would be insta win. Maybe drawing nomi early is to bad, missing a card. Still it feels a perfect fit with myra.

Tess I find very weak, isnt it supposed to beat warrior? The one tess rogue I met when playing warrior lost without ever having a chance.

It can generate more value sure because Warriors tend to play very slow. Against most other decks it’s not very good since it lack any board clears. Even Warrior can pressure Tess Rogue down if they buff up their taunts and playing big tomb wardens, along with removing all their minions with rushing mechs.

Like honestly what is a Rogue gonna do against big taunts? Just pray they get good cards off of their burgles. If it was a better deck overall than control Warrior the winrates would reflect it, it doesn’t.

Players don’t have a problem with Dr. Boom because it’s a card in a meme deck that totally and completely folds to aggro. They have a problem with it because it’s the backbone of a meta defining deck that destroys aggro and has game against late game decks.

Tess Rogue isn’t anything like Dr. Boom Control Warrior. It doesn’t make any sense to compare them. Players don’t care about bad decks that don’t warp the meta.

I don’t know what rank most of the complainers play in but I have seen far more broken decks that easily and consistently outvalue, outpace and out fatigue warrior in rank 5 to legend. When I face a warrior I am happy because I know how limited is their value game.

If you want to make your point on the forums then create a post about it. Dont hijack someone elses post with something irrelevant to the OP’s discussion.

If you want to seem like your words have any validity you probably shouldn’t act like a simpleton. Accept that you’ve made a mistake and move on like an adult perhaps.

I think the only viable rogue is tempo rogue, and the list most people play. Its allround pretty good but autoloses to warrior.

Quest rogue tends to beat control warrior, because that is the only class that does pretty much does nothing but play removal, they dont actively play the board. They can but they don’t and then they lose. A Ctrl warrior can make it a quest rogue very hard if they try to appy some pressure, but usually they don’t.
Scheme being at the bottom of the deck can also make the quest rogue lose some games in that matchup.

Auto lose is a bit of an exaggeration but it is indeed a poor match up.

You gotta hope they don’t have the removals and taunts to stop them from hitting face. If they do might as well concede, also requires the Rogue to draw very well and hopefully have myras once out of juice.

Yeah and those things happen. Myra’s often gives rogue enough juice to pull out the win. It’s worth playing out.

What is your deal against rogues? They are in a horrible state at the moment being pigeon holed into pure tempo with no alternative in the foreseeable future. Somehow you think this is okay. The lack of viable alternatives to tempo erodes the fun in playing rogue. The fact that I must play tempo also polarized my gaming experience. It’s not fun. And that’s not okay when the only competitive option for rogue means repetitive play of the same archetype season after season.

If you can’t understand that then your being willfully blind.

Look at his post history.

His perspective is that Control Warrior should destroy everything. And anything that destroys it is broken beyond belief.
