When using Rogue Tourist cards in a Paladin deck that has Sunsapper Lynessa, none of the Rogue cards that synergize with “other class” are treating the host Paladin cards as being from a different class. I constructed a Lynessa deck partially around the idea that the Paladin cards would be considered from a different class because the cards are coded as Rogue cards, even though my Paladin is “touring” into the Rogue cards. Am I interpreting this synergy incorrectly?
This description is too vague, especially for those of us that don’t have every card memorized.
Please tell us:
- What specific card(s) you played
- What happened as a result
- What you expected to happen instead
if you are a paladin, you need to play rogue cards as the not from your class cards
paladin cards belong to the paladin class
Sure. So, I created a Paladin deck with Sunsapper Lynessa, which allows Paladin to tour Rogue cards from the Perils in Paradise set. When I played Conniving Conman, I expected to repeat the last Paladin card I played because I thought by “other class”, Conman meant a class besides Rogue, as it is a Rogue card. But it did NOT trigger this. So, I’m wondering if it has to be a class other than the host class, which is Paladin. Also, Treasure Hunter Eudora (a Rogue card I was able to include in this touring Paladin deck) triggers a Sidequest that relies on you playing cards from another class, which I thought would include Paladin cards that are in that deck. However, none of my host Paladin cards were counted towards progress in the Sidequest. I thought that since Eudora is a Rogue-class card, it would detect my Paladin cards in that deck as being from another class, but it didn’t.
“other class” means a different class than your current Hero.
Ok, thank you for clarifying. With new mechanics in a new expansion, sometimes there is a learning curve before settling in.
