Let me just say. It is hard to balance a card that either going to kill it completely or become unusable until later expansions are added.
Cause Patches got nerfed completely by removing its charge; when it could’ve just added rush.
Nerfing patches’ voice clip was complete overkill, there was no reason to do that.

I’ve been seeing that line since I started playing Hearthstone.
At this point, I am convinced Hearthstone will die a very very slow, miserable, long death with multiple recussitation attempts.
In sheer spite of these claims.

there is clearly a contradiction in this statement… see the rush keyword was released April 12, 2018 while patches lost charge February 6th, 2018!
so patches was nerfed over a month before rush existed and could not have been given Rush at the time !
(guess they could have added it later but where is the money in that?)
only games without those as topics of discussions are single player games
They have been going down the drain for 20 years and made billions of dollars.

You do realize patches could have gotten rush when Rush was added.
Just because it was month later.
To be frank, i did not expect the hound losing 2 health and the singer losing 1 attack to change anything about the hunter.
The purpose of the hound it to heal up the hunter, and it still does, the purpose of the singer is to draw a secret or two, and it still does.
if anything, those nerf might reduce the winrate of hunter by like a couple of tenth of a percent.
which is why I said in brackets at the bottom they could have added it after! I was just saying at the time this is why he wasn’t given rush! its probably something they never went back to or didn’t care to buff

Patches is still auto-include in many aggro decks in wild today. He does not need rush. At all.
