I’ve given up many long weekends. Where’s my religion?

I believe God uses filters. That is why Jesus talks about a large gate and small gate. He also said, “It is finished.” which means he covered all his bases. He had to die and raise again to prove there is an afterlife. Jesus doesn’t have a weakness like a normal hero. He is better. The Good Samaritan is a hero story, taking care of an enemy takes guts.
