Rewards should not depend on content/modes players dislike

Hi.

I understand that Blizzard has their formulas for how much free content to release and at what pace and how much of it should be paywalled overall.

But I cant see much logic in forcing those who do not want to play singleplayer content to do so. And it can be opposite for someone else.

Im stuck behind the whole mercenary thing right now and have had to discard the whole questline, let alone the fact that I probably never will get the merc-packs that require me to play through the tutorial.

I know I could play them, and heck, some day somewhere I might. But at the moment I have absolutely no interest in it.

Whats the point in walling me off from content that I should be getting, just because I dont like a specific mode?

So many different modes have been added since I last played as well. I do appreciate the limited amount of control we have in dismissing certain quests for modes we never play. B

Why not let us opt out from some modes entirely? And never receive any quests for them? Cheers
