Edit:
Latest iOS update (version 20.4.84593) has fixed this bug and I am now able to once again play on iOS! I am extremely happy with this and believe that means this bug is resolved.
Sent in a support ticket, the person there suggested I make a topic on it here so the devs can look over it.
Whenever I boot up hearthstone on my mobile device, it refuses to load past the tavern doors. It won’t give the hearthstone logo, and will not give me the main menu.
Deleting the app and redownloading it previously caused it to offer “I’m New” and “Sign In”. Sign in would lead to the same issue, with I’m New leading to the offline tutorial. This tutorial, once completed, would simply get me stuck at the tavern door screen again, and it will now no longer give me the “I’m New” option. Deleting and redownloading the app gives me the option again, but still doesn’t fix the issue.
Something to do with ios remembering my login even when deleting the app, and automatically going to go into my account upon opening the app.
I know this as I experienced a similar issue getting battle.net to boot up on my laptop until I forcibly pulled up the battle.net settings and made it log out of my account. Once I logged back in, everything was fine on my laptop. (Which I don’t play on that much - I play on iOS)
Unfortunately I have found no way to make my device forget the hearthstone account it seems, if that is the issue.
I have tried rebooting my device, deleting and redownloading hearthstone, changing my hearthstone/battle.net account password, tried logging into the EU battle.net at Klingoura’s suggestion.
Nothing has worked.
I am updated to version 20.2.82657 on iOS, which I believe is currently the latest, with no clue how to be able to fix this.
I’m hoping there’s an update in a day or two that will rectify this but otherwise I am out of ideas.
I am essentially unable to play unless it somehow fixes itself.
Edit: I have now tried logging in under a VPN. Doesn’t do anything either.
